ARABIAN NIGHTS - PERFORMANCE DVD

The world-travelled tale of an ancient Arabian dancer sharing insights to the history of Middle-Easten culture through an electric mix of dance, mime, acting and song. This one-woman show has played to thousands of people acoss the world and is a uniquely stunning presentation filled with the passion and soul of oriental art. This DVD was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa where the show enjoyed a month-long run nightly in 2006 at the Obz Cafe Theatre.














This new system of yoga is devised by Beverley to open the body for full rotations in the hips, back and torso with a view to increasing the range of movement in the body - designed specifically for Oriental dancers at an advanced to intermediate level of bodywork. There are two DVD's - the beginners filmed in Egypt and the Advanced filmed on a tropical beach in Umhlanga, South Africa.






















Exciting tribal and fusion by Cape Town's best belly performers filmed at Zula Bar, Cape Town (March 2006) which also includes a new-wave tribal and experimental set performed by Beverley (dance) and Gavin Bonner (percussion) at the Shaw Theatre, London, 2 June 2006 and selected performances by Beverley at the Planet Egypt showcase (London). The DVD explores the many faces and paths leading from and to tribal bellydance and features a large component of live drumming.























This massive show recieving huge acclaim in Africa will soon reach Europe.

Inspired by the recent war on Lebanese soil, five characters bring the rich and turbulent history of this beautiful country to life.
